The Star Wars franchise is going full throttle, and it's showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. With Disney now in charge of the property and producing both main installments and standalone films, there is a wealth of new and exciting content set within the galaxy far, far away. While many fans are still reeling from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the next standalone film is set to arrive in a matter of weeks. Fans have been eager to see how it handles younger versions of the title character, Chewie, and Lando Calrissian. The latter is played by Donald Glover, and a new trailer shows the Atlanta actor using an iconic aspect of Billy Dee Williams' original character. Specifically, how he says Han Solo's first name wrong. Check it out below, coming it at the 0:35 mark.

Lando's pronunciation of Han name in Solo's trailer is a small detail, but it's something that is going to delight the hardcore Star Wars fans out there. The franchise is one that has been passed down from generation to generation, so there are are many fans out there who have been following the epic space opera for decades. Aspects of the fandom may be nervous to a see classic characters like Han and Lando played by new actors, but this attention to detail is enough to quell some of their trepidations.
The Star Wars franchise may be beloved and extremely profitable, but it's a tricky property to get right. Because there are so many years and emotions tied to the galaxy, the community watches and dissects every frame from each new blockbuster. Furthermore, it's a franchise that many fans don't seem to be ever satisfied with. While J.J. Abrams was criticized for making The Force Awakens too formulaic and New Hope-ish, Rian Johsnon was chastised for taking too many risks with The Last Jedi. Ultimately Disney and Lucasfilm seem satisfied with their work. and are going full speed ahead with more silver screen adventures.
Overall, Solo: A Star War Story looks like it's going to really expand and illuminate beloved characters from the Star Wars franchise. Audiences will watch as a young Solo starts his adventures in the galaxy, including meeting his buddy Chewbacca. This standalone film promises to feature more Chewie than any of the previous movies, which is great considering how little the Wookie has to do in the current trilogy.
The timing of Solo's release is also tricky because of the recent death of Han Solo. While it was released years ago, there are plenty of folks who are still mourning Han's death. Ron Howard and actor Alden Ehrenreich have big shoes to fill, so it'll be fascinating to see how they manage to do it.
